Anna Friel 'wants more theatre roles'

Anna Friel has revealed that she would love to keep working in the theatre.

The former Brookside star, who is currently starring as Holly Golightly in a West End production of Breakfast At Tiffany's, explained that every night in the theatre is different.

"When my agent asked me what I wanted to do next, I said, 'I want to keep doing plays'," she told the Evening Standard. "I never thought I'd say that in the middle of a very hard run, but I absolutely love it.

"It's almost shocking to me how many facets there are to Holly. Every night can be a completely different performance... That's the excitement of theatre."
