Pete Doherty 'arrested in Berlin'

Pete Doherty has reportedly been arrested for alleged vandalism in Berlin.

According to German newspaper Bild, the Babyshambles singer has been accused of throwing a pint glass at a car, breaking its back window.

It is thought that Doherty was taken into custody shortly before 7am on Saturday morning in relation to the incident. He was apparently released three hours later after being charged for property damage.

Eyewitnesses have been quoted as saying that the star was visiting the city's Trinkteufel club with two friends when he threw the glass out of a window. A passer-by is believed to have then called police.

Last week, it was revealed that Doherty had been pulled off stage at a gig in Munich after launching into a Nazi anthem. He later made a public apology for the gaffe.
