Former Catatonia singer Cerys Matthews has revealed that she is expecting her second child.
Cerys made her announcement on Friday on Jonathan Davis' S4C chat show. When fellow guest Aled Jones commented that his wife was expecting, Cerys refused to be out-done and made a similar declaration.
The singer already has an 18-month daughter, Glenys Pearl y-Felin, with her producer husband, Seth Riddle. She previously told BBC Wales: "I love being a mum and I love living in a place where I am surrounded by like-minded people and music is everywhere (Nashville)."
Catatonia disbanded in 2001 with Cerys suffering from exhaustion. Two years later she released her first solo album, Cockahoop, following a much more country and western style.
