Gary Numan: 'I've never been drunk'
Published Thursday, Dec 10 2009, 20:23 GMT | By Oli Simpson

The 'Cars' singer suffered from social anxiety and depression during his younger years, before doctors prescribed him with anti-depressants to calm his erratic behaviour.
Numan was later diagnosed with a mild form of Asperger's syndrome and autism spectrum disorder, which affects social and communication skills.
The star has now admitted that he has always avoided alcohol, adding that he has no idea how it might affect his personality.
He told FHM: "I've never been drunk in my life. I don't drink, never have. I was a little troubled in my teens and was put onto pills I wasn't allowed to drink with to keep me calm and rational.
"I bet I'd turn into an evil pile of s**t if I got drunk."
