Bündchen family: 'We are really happy'

Gisele Bündchen's family are reportedly overjoyed with the birth of her baby boy with American football star Tom Brady.

The supermodel's relatives expressed their praise as they gathered in Boston to welcome their new member.

"He's a beautiful, healthy boy and we are all really happy!" the new mum's twin sister Patricia told People.

"We don't know the name yet. I don't have all the details. But obviously when someone is born into the family, it makes us all happy," said Bündchen's father. "Obviously I have a huge desire to see my grandson. The arrival of a grandson always brings happiness to the grandfather."

The birth was announced yesterday, although the boy's name and weight are yet to be released by the couple.
