New Kids star McIntyre welcomes baby boy

The singer-songwriter and his wife Barrett welcomed the arrival of baby boy Rhys Edward McIntyre in Los Angeles on Sunday night, People reports. The child is said to have weighed in at 7lbs 10oz.
McIntyre, 36, confirmed the news on his Twitter account late yesterday, writing: "New Baby Mac is on the Block!! He and his mum are both rock stars."
The couple, who also have a 2-year-old son named Griffin Thomas, had announced in July that they were to become parents again.
Speaking at the time, McIntyre commented: "I still can't get over it. We feel so blessed."
The star has previously revealed that his wife would like to have a daughter in the future.
