Courtney Love 'loses custody of daughter'

According to the AFP, a Los Angeles court has ruled that Frances Bean should be placed under the temporary guardianship of her grandmother Wendy O'Connor and aunt Kimberly Dawn Cobain.
O'Connor is the mother of Bean's late father Kurt Cobain, who was best known as the lead singer of Nirvana before his death in 1994.
Legal papers which have been published online do not mention Love or reveal any explicit reason for the move, BBC News reports.
Former Hole singer Love previously lost custody of Bean in 2003 following a drug overdose. The star's daughter was placed back into her care in 2005.
It is believed that the latest court order runs until February.
