Ritchie 'ecstatic' to spend Xmas with kids

Guy Ritchie has apparently said that he is overjoyed to be spending Christmas Day with his children.

The Sherlock Holmes director, who has 9-year-old son Rocco and adopted son David Banda with Madonna, has reportedly decided to throw a "traditional" celebration for his family after his ex-wife gave him permission to have them at his house for the day.

"Guy is really pleased, and cannot quite believe he and Madonna came to such an amicable arrangement. He is a huge fan of Christmas and wants to do everything by the book, very traditionally," The Mirror quotes a friend of Ritchie as saying.

"This means stockings hanging from under the kids' beds, presents under the tree and a massive turkey, brussels sprouts, chestnuts, the works.

"When Guy and Madonna were together, they didn't really celebrate Christmas Day due to Madonna's staunch Kabbalah beliefs. Now that he's a single man, Guy is determined to spoil them rotten and give the youngsters a Christmas they'll never forget."

Ritchie and Madonna filed for divorce earlier this year after nearly nine years together.
