Holden 'devastated' over failed marriage

Amanda Holden has revealed that she was "devastated" when her marriage to Les Dennis ended in 2002.

The Big Top presenter, who has now married music producer Chris Hughes, said she has learned from the experience to focus and "plough on".

Holden, 38, told The Daily Mail: "I went from one serious relationship to another when I was younger and I was always devastated when things didn't work out. I was only 21 when I met Les and it was a very difficult time when we split up after seven years of marriage in 2002."

Now a mother to three-year-old daughter Lexi, the presenter added that she is terrified of being alone. "I'm independent and like having time to myself, but you can take it to the extreme. I fear feeling isolated and not having people around me who I love," she said.
