Seacrest 'struggles to have social life'

Ryan Seacrest has admitted that he struggles to have a personal life.

The American Idol host confessed that he doesn't have much spare time because he is so busy with work.

"I try to make time for my family - mum, dad, sister," he told Parade. "We're all very tight. Eventually I'm going to have to figure out how to exist in a committed relationship and maybe get married and have some kids."

However, Seacrest added that he isn't planning on settling down in the near future.

"Right now there is no ring to be purchased," he said. "But let's just say that I do buy an awful lot of shoes for my dates."

Seacrest also revealed that next year he is planning to launch a foundation to put radio stations in children's hospitals.

"I realise that there are more important things in life than going to work every day and taking on as many jobs as you can," he said.
