British-born actress Jane Seymour became a US citizen on Friday.
"I've realised that I've been living here longer than in my home country. America has given me unbelievable opportunities," Seymour told Reuters after the ceremony in Los Angeles. "I realised that with the U.S. elections I wanted to vote and I couldn't. I felt the time had come to participate more fully."
Seymour said that she has lived in America since 1976.
