The former model, who started dating George, 26, after they met at the ski resort of Klosters in Switzerland, once described the relationship as "magical".
Kidd, 31, told The Mail On Sunday that the recent break-up has been friendly. "It's really sad but we have split up. It's all very recent and a bit raw, but fortunately things between us are amicable and we have managed to stay friends," she said.
"I know 2010 is going to be a great year. I am really looking forward to Christmas and will be spending it at home with my sister Jemma. She is about to have twins, so we are all hoping for two Christmas babies."
The former Strictly Come Dancing contestant separated from her husband Aiden Butler in 2007 and has previously dated DJ Joel Chinn and polo pro Tarquin Southwell.
