Johnson denies on set romance with Wood

Aaron Johnson has denied that he was romantically involved with his Nowhere Boy director Sam Taylor Wood during filming.

The 19-year-old actor, who is now engaged to 42-year-old Wood, said that they kept their relationship professional despite falling for each other on "day one".

Johnson told Empire magazine: "We were both really professional [but] a lot of people say it started from day one. I guess that's because there was a sort of, I don't know, chemistry.

"It was just wonderful to work with her. But we only really sort of started after we finished, because we wanted to keep everything professional."
