Kid Cudi mistaken for burglar by police?

Kid Cudi was nearly arrested on Monday after Los Angeles police mistook the car he was travelling in for a getaway vehicle used in a recent burglary.

The 'Day 'N Nite' star, real name Scott Mescudi, became the victim of mistaken identity when his SUV was pulled over by officials and he and his crew were temporarily held.

However, police soon realised that they had stopped the wrong car and released Cudi and his entourage without charge.

Cudi's manager Plain Pat later took to his Twitter page to clear up the confusion, posting: "Kid Cudi not Arrested on Fairfax Avenue in LA."
