According to court documents pertaining to the temporary restraining order filed against Courtney Love on behalf of her 17-year-old daughter, "personal problems in the family" and "domestic violence" were listed.
However, no elaboration is given and the possible reasons came in a motion to have documents pertaining to the case sealed.
Love's attorney denied rumours that the order was filed due to the 45-year-old having a drug relapse, and insisted that the case is "simply about Frances preferring to live with her grandmother".
Jim Janovitch, another attorney for Love, added: "The only reason [domestic violence] was mentioned was for the purpose of ensuring a sealing of the case. I'm not going to comment on that issue because we're trying to handle this in a way that's best suited so that Frances doesn't suffer."
