Glassman: 'Break-in huge publicity stunt'

Jon Gosselin's ex-flame Hailey Glassman has claimed that she is being framed for breaking into the reality star's apartment as part of a "huge publicity stunt".

According to New York Daily News, Glassman was questioned by police about the incident after a note was found speared through Gosselin's dresser with her name on it. She has not yet been charged with the crime.

"They weren't able to prove it was her, but they are still looking at her," said a police source, adding that detectives found no sign of forced entry.

"Somebody appears to be trying to frame her," her lawyer Anand Ahuja stated. "It appears to be a huge, huge publicity stunt and nothing else."

Gosselin's attorney has pressed cops to find the "sick perpetrator" behind the crime. Ahuja also noted that the ex-TLC star has revealed to his mother he is behind on the $5,000 per month rent.

Glassman, who moved out of the apartment on Wednesday, posted on Twitter that she and Gosselin had been splitting the rent and that the dad "has been pocketing our rent money".
