The star of The Hangover will replace former Grey’s Anatomy cast member T.R. Knight in the revival, set to open on March 11 in New York City, reports Variety.
The 31-year-old will join Anthony LaPaglia and Tony Shalhoub in the play, and will be taking on the role of Max, an assistant to the manager of the Cleveland Opera Company who dons blackface for a performance of Othello.
Lend Me A Tenor will be the Broadway directing debut of actor Stanley Tucci.
