The Green Day frontman admitted in a recent interview that he now feels too old to deal with the degenerative effects of illegal narcotics.
The 37-year-old told Bang Showbiz: "What will I never do again? Methamphetamine. I'd rather be huffing gas than sticking speed up my nose.
"I can't do acid anymore either. I would end up naked on top of the building, sucking my thumb and trying to find a happy place if I was ever to drop acid again."
Armstrong went on to say that he is not concerned about getting older and is actually looking forward to turning 40 in several years time.
He added: "I don't mind getting older. I wouldn't trade my future with anybody else's."
