Danny Dyer has announced that he is now too old to take his shirt off for photoshoots.

The Football Factory actor revealed that he recently refused to strip off as he posed for a magazine.

Explaining his decision, Dyer told the Daily Record: "I'm 32, I've got to stop taking my top off for people, so I just showed a little bit of nipple and chest hair.

"Years ago I didn't mind but you get older and you've got to have a bit of dignity. I'm a serious actor now and I'm not going to take my top off at the drop of a hat."

Meanwhile, discussing his current projects, he said: "I'm doing a horror movie called The Basement, it's a really dark and intense movie about a group of people who get locked in this basement and weird s**t starts happening.

"I'm doing a zombie horror movie called The Devil's Playground with Craig Fairbrass and Steven Berkoff. Then another movie with Sean Bean called The Age Of Heroes which is set in Dunkirk. I play a commando."

Earlier this year, Dyer called time on his TV presenting career in order to concentrate on acting.
