Jagger to Wood: 'Stop drinking or else'

Mick Jagger has reportedly told Ronnie Wood that he must stop drinking or leave the Rolling Stones.

According to the News of the World, Jagger intervened after Wood's ex-wife Jo asked him to help.

"Ronnie's on a path to self-destruction," the source said. "His daily alcohol intake is over 50 units. If anyone can make Ron listen it's the band."

The insider also claimed that Jagger will ban Wood from joining the Rolling Stones's latest tour if he doesn't stop drinking.

"Mick is making it clear to Ronnie he must curb the drinking or he won't be coming on tour," the source said. "He won't let Ronnie's boozing derail the band's plans and already has possible replacements in mind."
