Lost In Translation actress Scarlett Johansson has complained that she is having trouble making friends in Los Angeles.
Scarlett, who was born in New York city, has accused the inhabitants of LA of refusing to talk to each other.
"It's hard to find real friends in LA," Teen Hollywood quotes her as saying. "There's so much emphasis on what's happening next, who people can meet to better themselves and I'm not used to that.
"Growing up in New York, if you know one person, you know 20. If you go to a party where you don't know many people, you end up meeting everybody.
"In LA, nobody wants to talk to each other, everybody's giving each other catty looks. It's strange, but if you can get out of that scene, then there's plenty of nice things LA has to offer.
"So I'm trying to find my way around and feel cozy the way I did in New York."
