Alison Mosshart, who used to date Hince before he got together with supermodel Kate Moss, said that they have a "ridiculous" relationship.
Mosshart told Vogue: "Jamie and I are like a ridiculous married couple. He's the one I tell everything to. Our lives depend on each other. He's the closest person to me.
"It's the most beautiful thing. And I want people to fantasise about it. There's nothing wrong with that. It's beautiful."
Mosshart added that she considers the recent rumours of a rift with Moss "ridiculous" and sees her as "a friend".
Moss and Mosshart were reported to have ended their feud in November.
