Matthew McConaughey is reportedly planning to propose to Penelope Cruz.
Sources claim that the Head In The Clouds actress' father has given his blessing to the union, while the Daily Express reports that she has been telling friends that they hope to marry in Madrid by July.
The couple got together whilst filming Sahara, directed by Breck Eisner (Thoughtcrime, Recon). The upcoming movie sees an explorer (McConaughey) try to shut down a source of pollution that threatens the entire planet.
Cruz will present an award at this year's Academy Awards on February 27.
