Sean Connery has been branded "a rude, foul-mouthed, fat old man" in a lawsuit filed by his New York neighbours.
The $30m lawsuit, brought by neighbour Dr. Burton Sultan and his family, accuses renovations at Connery's home of causing noise, water leaks and even a horde of rats. In addition, the Connery household apparently play loud music at unsociable hours and generally "stomp about".
An example given in the suit describes a time when Marla Sultan approached Connery to complain about the noise. It reads: "Connery's appearance and behaviour was that of a rude, foul-mouthed, fat old man. Cursing and otherwise using indecent language, Connery demeaned Marla's father, refused to lower the noise and slammed the door in her face."
The Guardian reports that a spokesperson for the Connery family has pointed out that they rarely inhabit their New York property.
