Michelle Heaton 'announces engagement'

Michelle Heaton has reportedly announced that she is to marry her boyfriend Hugh Hanley.

The former Liberty X star informed friends about her engagement by sharing the news on Facebook last night, according to The Sun.

Heaton started dating Hanley in the summer of 2008 after splitting from her first husband Andy Scott-Lee.

In December of that year, she described Hanley as her "soulmate" and indicated that she would like to have children with him.

Meanwhile, last March, she spoke about the possibility of tying the knot, saying: "We just want to have a fantastic life and when marriage comes, it comes."
