"No end in sight" for Westlife

Published Friday, Feb 25 2005, 11:25 GMT | By Neil Wilkes
Westlife have admitted that they have no plans to split in the immediate future.

The four remaining members - Shane Filan, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan and Nicky Byrne - have now been together for seven years and said that they will remain so as long as "we love what we do and we get on."

Speaking at an awards show in Dublin yesterday, Byrne threatened: "We are going to finish when we want to finish, when the fans stop buying our records. The funny thing about Westlife at the minute is there is no end in sight."

Louis Walsh, the group's manager, added that there were at least two more albums left in Westlife.
