Lee's throat puts end to Blue tour

Boyband Blue's final tour has been cancelled because of Lee Ryan's throat problems.

The singer recently flew to see a throat speciliast in Los Angeles, who told him that he was developing nodules on his vocal cords and advised him to rest for eight weeks.

"I am very sorry to disappoint all our fans," said Lee, 21. "I've been told by doctors that if the tour takes place, I risk permanently damaging my voice. It's terrible timing and I'm very upset."

The group's management are hoping to reschedule the tour for later this year.
