City National Bank has brought a lawsuit against the former Beverly Hills 90210 star for "breach of contract" and "unjust enrichment" after failing to make a principal payment on an alleged loan.
According to Perez Hilton, the 38-year-old actress took out a $90,000 loan in December 2008.
The bank has since filed the claim against Doherty for $85,000 plus interest and attorney fees.
