Singer Edwyn Collins has undergone brain surgery after suffering a cerebral haemorrhage.
The emergency operation took place on February 25 following his haemorhage on February 20, according to his official website.
The BBC reports that the singer's wife, Grace Maxwell, said that Collins is recovering and is "as well as can be hoped for" as his condition is being stabilised in a London hospital.
