George Clooney planning Haiti telethon

According to E!, the Up in the Air star has phoned his celebrity friends and asked them to man the phones and collect donations.
MTV has confirmed that the programme is in the works with Clooney as the host. It is expected to air on January 22 across all MTV platforms including Vh1.
Sting and his wife Trudie Styler are rumoured to be involved.
