Duncan James discusses sexuality

Duncan James has insisted that he still finds women attractive.

The Blue singer also dismissed speculation that he was trying to hide being gay by announcing his bisexuality last year.

"I have never been gay. I have always found women attractive. I have a lot of gay friends and they would not like the idea of making love to a woman - I'm not like that," he told the Daily Mail.

The star, who has previously been linked to celebrities including Geri Halliwell and Tara Palmer Tomkinson, admitted that he was overwhelmed with the response when he opened up about his sexuality.

"I'd had in my head that everyone was going to leave me, no-one was going to talk to me. When the story came out, the reaction I got was so positive," he said.

"People I didn't expect to contact me said lovely things and people were writing beautiful letters saying that I'd really helped them."

Bandmate Anothony Costa claimed that James "can just be himself" since revealing his bisexuality.
