Monjack: 'Hollywood broke Murphy's heart'

Simon Monjack has spoken about the loss of his wife Brittany Murphy.

In an interview with Larry King, Monjack and Murphy's mother Sharon were asked how they are coping after Murphy's death last month.

"I don't think I am," he said. "I don't think either of us are."

He added that every morning is "like a rebirth", explaining: "It's - there's not enough time to - your dreams, be they good or bad, when you wake up and I reach out to touch or hold my wife, she isn't there."

Monjack also claimed that Hollywood is to blame for Murphy's death.

"You want to know what broke Brittany Murphy's heart?" he said. "Hollywood broke Brittany Murphy's heart."
