Busted's Matt Willis to go solo

Former Busted singer Matt Willis is planning to start a solo career, and has been spending time in a recording studio.

Willis is putting all of his energy into his music, and even missed the launch of MTV Style, a new show presented by his girlfriend Emma Griffiths, in favour of recording new songs.

Griffiths told The Mirror, "Matt's not here with me tonight because he's working late in the studio. He's had a tough few weeks but he's doing what he loves and trying to work out what musical direction to take now.

"He'll definitely be back."
