Lost in Translation actress Scarlett Johansson is preparing for some painful vaccinations before taking a charity trip next week.

Johansson will visit India and Sri Lanka to meet survivors of the tsunami disaster, before flying to Bulgaria to film a new movie, The Black Dahlia, alongside Hilary Swank and Josh Hartnett.

"Bulgaria should be interesting," Scarlett is quoted by Breakingnews.ie as saying. "Probably just as well I'm having the vaccination shots for Asia - they'll come in handy for Bulgaria.

"What do they eat over there... cabbage?"
