Sky's Kay Burley to release novel

Sky News presenter Kay Burley has been working on her debut novel.

The Afternoon Live anchor is penning a tale about a prime minister who is involved in more than one extra-marital affair.

Burley told the Daily Mail: "It's not so much a love triangle as a very messy love square. It's based on a real prime minister, but there's no way I could possibly say who."

It is thought that the newsreader has passed her first draft on to lawyers who are currently examining the story.

Burley was recently tipped for a presenting role on GMTV as part of the morning programme's forthcoming revamp.
