The 26-year-old had been charged with common assault and a public order offence after the altercation with 27-year-old Robert Pound at Milton Keynes Theatre in Buckinghamshire on December 19.
Winehouse has been ordered to pay £100 in compensation and £85 in costs and given a two-year conditional discharge, BBC News reports.
District judge Peter Crabtree said: "Mr Pound is a person whose job involves interaction with the public. If he's assaulted he deserves the court's protection... In this case it's obvious that alcohol played its part."
Of his sentence, he added: "It may be harder than a fine because you have now got to stay on the straight and narrow for the next two years."
The 'Rehab' singer was arrested on December 23 after voluntarily attending Milton Keynes police station and entered her guilty plea before the town's magistrates this morning.
Winehouse, from Barnet, North London, had been accused of hitting Pound after disrupting a performance of Cinderella starring Mickey Rooney and Bobby Davro.
