Updated: Charlie Sheen's wife 'hospitalised in LA'

Charlie Sheen's wife Brooke Mueller has been admitted to hospital in Los Angeles, reports claim.

According to TMZ, she was taken to hospital in Sherman Oaks after having a temperature of 105 degrees Fahrenheit. It is thought that Mueller is in intensive care and may have pneumonia.

Sheen has reportedly now arrived at the medical centre with two friends, including Two And A Half Men exec producer Mark Burg, whose house the actor is staying in due to the couple's protection order.

Mueller's lawyer Yale Galanter has told People: "Brooke is in the hospital ICU related to the surgery for her impacted wisdom tooth. They are trying to get the infection and fever under control. The infection has spread."

She is due to appear at a court hearing this Friday to determine Sheen's domestic violence charges against her. However, the hearing is now expected to be delayed.
