Mel Gibson: 'I'm one tough motherf***er'

Mel Gibson has said that he is no longer bothered by anything.

The actor/director told The Daily Telegraph that he has been toughened up by his exposure in the media in recent years.

Gibson said: "I am one tough motherf**ker and you can't bother me anymore.

"You ask anybody what their number one fear is and it's public humiliation. Multiply that on a global scale and that's what I've been through."

He added: "It changes you and makes you one tough motherf**ker. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. It's really that simple."

Gibson faced criticism after making anti-Semitic remarks to a police officer in 2006 when arrested for driving under the influence.

His split from wife Robyn Gibson and relationship with musician Oksana Grigorieva also attracted media attention.
