Elton John: "a humourless dame"

Elton John is a "humourless dame" and Matt Lucas a "prissy, niggly diva" according to Culture Club singer Boy George.

Now a DJ in New York, Boy George is setting up competition against Elton John in terms of having outbursts about celebrities. On fellow gay singer Sir Elton, he told the Radio Times: "Elton John is like our headmaster, the grand old dame of pop, with a beautiful voice but living in an ornate bubble, full of fresh flowers, surrounded by people who nod and laugh at everything he says, and he doesn't have a sense of humour."

He also had a few words to say about Little Britain creator and Taboo colleague Matt Lucas. He explained: "He (Matt) wouldn't talk about his sexuality, although he's now made the queerest show in Britain."

The singer recently moaned about Madonna's exploitation of the gay community and then turning to the Kabbalah religion, which views homosexuality as a curable disease. The Holiday singer branded his claims of hypocrisy "ridiculous".
