MJ accuser denies allegation invention

Michael Jackson's accuser has denied suggestions that he invented the molestation allegations because Jackson rejected him as a father figure.

Defence attorney Tom Mesereau suggested to Gavin Arviso, Jackson's alleged victim, that he made up the allegations when he realised that his family were not going to become part of Jackson's.

Arviso said that he did not want to be part of the star's family but did view him as a father figure. At this, the lawyer said: "And when you left (Jackson's) Neverland Valley Ranch for the last time, you felt that your father had rejected you."

Mesereau also tried to establish that Arviso originally claimed that the alleged molestation took place before the filming of the rebuttal tape, but then decided it took place afterwards.

Arviso, then 13, responded that "even to this day I don't remember exactly when this happened."

The accuser also denied defence suggestions that he masturbated over Jackson's pornography in the star's absence.
