Reid pals want Jedward for cage fight

Alex Reid's friends have attempted to persuade John & Edward to attend a cage-fighting event.

The X Factor twins were on Celebrity Big Brother spinoff Big Brother's Big Mouth last Friday, where they met some of Reid's colleagues.

After the show ended, Reid's pals approached the Grimes brothers with an offer to perform at one of their upcoming events.

"Alex's mates were really keen to speak to John & Edward after the programme went off air. The twins hung around to speak to fans in the studio audience and were approached with an offer about appearing at a cage fight," a source told DS.

"Alex's friends said that they could either get in the cage or perform their new single at the show, but the twins didn't look interested."

John & Edward's debut solo single 'Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)' is released on January 31.
