Arviso explains molestation denial

After he testified yesterday that he told a teacher that he had never been abused by Michael Jackson, Gavin Arviso today defended his actions.

The 15-year-old accuser explained that he was teased at school for having been "raped" by the singer on his return from Neverland. After being involved in several fights he was called to see teacher Jeffrey Alpert to whom he said that Jackson "didn't do anything to me".

Arviso explained today: "All the kids were already making fun of me at school and I didn't want anyone to think it had really happened."

Before the conclusion of Arviso's evidence, District Attorney Tom Sneddon asked the boy what his opinions towards Jackson, whom he previously regarded as a "father-figure" before the alleged molestation, Arviso replied: "I don't really like him any more. I don't think he was really deserving of the respect I was giving him as the coolest guy in the world."
