Sir Elton John has fired his publicist Barbara Charone.
The news follows the dismissal of Elton's manager of five years, Derek MacKillop.
Gary Farrow, a long-term friend of the singer, will now be taking Charone's place in taking care of his publicity.
World Entertainment News Network quotes a source as saying: "Elton getting fresh blood in to do his publicity was at the top of his list.
"It's a major blow for an independent PR to lose a client this big, but once Elton's made up his mind there was no going back."
