'Oasis' due 'to fight at the NME Awards'?

Speculation is rife that Oasis duo Liam and Noel Gallagher will come to blows at the NME Awards next month.

Despite splitting last August the Mancunian band has been nominated for an award at the ceremony.

Gigwise reports that bookmakers are offering 8/1 odds on the pair fighting, while they offer 5/1 for Liam and Noel to win an award and reunite on stage.

The odds that Oasis will reform in 2010 have been put at 4/1.

Sharon McHugh from Paddy Power said: "Oasis are old time favourites of the NME Awards, so it’s really no surprise that they’ve been nominated.

"The big question for music fans this year is not what bands will win but more will there be fisticuffs at this year’s ceremony?"
