The singer was seen sporting a seven-karat diamond engagement ring while the couple vacationed in Hawaii. Dean reportedly proposed to Keys the day before her 29th birthday on January 25.
Friends of the singer said that she is "is thrilled" and "feels blessed".
It will be the second marriage for Dean, who filed for divorce from singer Mashonda in April 2009.
