Bingle, Clarke replace stolen car

Lara Bingle and Michael Clarke want to replace their stolen sports car, according to reports.

The Australian cricketer, who gave the $250,000 (£140,000) Aston Martin to his model fiancée Bingle as a present, reportedly wants to buy a new vehicle despite the fact that they were reunited with the stolen one three weeks ago.

A friend of the couple told The Daily Telegraph: "They have been talking about selling the car ever since [the theft].

"It's not that there was anything wrong with the car, it was slightly damaged when they got it back, but they have been looking for something different."

Bingle was said to be left "scared" and "frightened" when the robbery took place in their apartment's secure car park while she was alone upstairs.

A 14-year-old boy is awaiting trial for the theft of the car.
