Ronnie Wood 'annoyed' over press coverage

Ronnie Wood has complained that he is tired of seeing himself in newspapers every day.

The Rolling Stone admitted that constant press attention surrounding his personal life has interfered with a planned career break.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Wood explained: "I just wanted to have this year off to do whatever I wanted, but I'm getting so much attention all of the time. It's annoying to see myself in the papers practically every day."

On what the future will hold for him, the rocker said: "I want to reform my band The Faces. There's a new lineup but it's going really well. We're going to start getting together in March to rehearse for gigs next year."

Wood has rarely been out of the headlines this month due to his ex-girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova's stint in the Celebrity Big Brother house. He has also received attention for a short-lived romance with a 26-year-old PR girl.
