Kanye West assault case 'dismissed'

Kanye West has reportedly had assault charges against him dropped after he performed community service.

The rapper and his manager Don Crowley were charged with vandalism, battery and grand theft following a scuffle with photographers at LAX airport in 2008.

However, in October the judge agreed to dismiss the case if the pair carried out community service.

TMZ reports that West's lawyer has now presented proof that he worked for 50 hours with the Red Cross.

The case against Crowley was also dropped.
