Peter Kay and Tony Christie have topped the UK singles chart with Is This The Way To Amarillo?, raising money for Comic Relief.

The song was originally released by Christie, now 61, in 1971 when it reached number 18. Comic Kay has used it at his live shows and on his hit series Phoenix Nights.

The single knocked McFly from the top spot and kept Elvis Presley's lastest re-release at bay at number three.

The UK top ten singles:
1. Is This The Way To Amarillo? - Peter Kay and Tony Christie
2. All About You/You've Got A Friend - McFly
3. She's Not You - Elvis Presley
4. Rich Girl - Gwen Stefani feat. Eve

6. They - Jem
7. Over And Over - Nelly Ft. Tim Mcgraw
