The Daily Mail reports that a sombre Douglas refused to answer questions from the press as he left the private bail hearing in Manhattan.
His son was arrested following a police raid of his hotel room at New York's Hotel Gansevoort last August. He was subsequently detained on suspicion of possessing illegal substances with intent to distribute, and later put under house arrest.
Douglas was jailed when his girlfriend allegedly attempted to smuggle heroin to him, concealed within an electric toothbrush.
The It Runs In The Family actor is due to be sentenced on April 27.
